Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread
Same in Asda (last time I was there a few months ago, at least). Had to get them to split my scan & go shop into two, which was a right old palaver.

Re: NHS Clapping
I understood it as a one-off but it's swiftly become a meme of itself and, along with the whole Captain Tom thing, I find it a bit grotesque. I don't think there's anything to celebrate in a 100-year-old man feeling like he has to raise money for an underfunded health system, and I don't think compe...

Interesting they haven't got on the fake brands bandwagon... Savers cheese (and nothing else that I could see) has transformed into a sort-of fake brand, but with Wm Morrison attached to it, and otherwise identical design to Savers. Re: Yet another Morrisons thread
A Morrisons near me has been kitted out with all new self and staffed checkouts. The staffed checkouts come complete with a 1-2-3 "scan, pay, pack" instructional message at the start of the conveyor belt. *I think* the idea is the bottom bay area is divided into two, so one person can pac...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
Just spotted this - looks like Boots are freeing their logo from its capsule and finally ditching that hideous nursery school rounded font they've been using for far too long. And also adding the date they were established, which is apparently mandatory with all high street rebrands now. https://up....

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
Those black and white logos are awful - competely bland and generic.
Also, I can't wait for my local petrol station to adopt the snappy moniker of "Little Waitrose & Partners at Shell Select".
