Empire Cinemas has gone bust. Six closed immediately, leaving Sunderland and Wigan with no cinema at all. The other half of the chain remains open while the administators look for a buyer.

Anyone seen the Fosters ad on TV recently? Didn't it originally have a guy tell his brother in law the drink was an obscure tipple called Voodoo Jazzhands? They seem to have censored it, as now he says Voodoo Jazzha- and gets cut off.

I think that's the idea. It's based on the logo they were using 50 years ago, it's deliberately designed to look retro.
