Re: BBC Radio 2 New Jingles

Not 100 percent sure about the news jingle from the new package (seems a little short for my liking as I have heard a few presenters crash into the logo already), but the rest is brilliant! Some of the jingles do have that rather 'special' sound that only Wise Buddah can create (see Love Jingle - A)...

Re: Your phone home screen + top apps

I notice the full version of Angry Birds is only free on Android, and needs to be paid for on iOS. Any particular reason why? However, the fact it is free on Android means it will now take over my life... Ooooh I know the answer to this. It's because there isn't a easy way worldwide to purchase fro...

Re: The Tesco & Other non-Morrisons Supermarket Thread

It's interesting that down south they are finally dropping this branding : http://www.clada.coop/interact09/images/logos/co-op-southern_logo.jpg in favor of the national 'Co-Operative Food'. And if anyone is interested here is the old Southern Co-Operative store branding: http://t3.gstatic.com/image...

The Wikipedia Blackout

As many of you may already know, today the English Wikipedia is down for a planned 'blackout' regarding the SOPA and PIPA planned legislation in the US. The main thing I am interested in is if people have been affected by the site not being there or if they simply go to another website to find the i...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

Hawkins Bazaar also in administration. Hawkins Bazaar is a shop full of tat. I once had to go in to try and return a present for a friend and the 'manager' of the store was having non of it even though the product had never been opened, had a receipt and was bought within 7 days. The irony was on t...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

I think HMV is on borrowed time. It is turning more and more into a discount technology store than an entertainment stockist. In my local branch they never have a large selection of DVD's, and as for their album chart, it strangely always seems to be their own chart and not the one all of the other ...

Very odd!I can't imagine a fader that goes the opposite way. The again, I suppose its just habit isn't it, to expect it to go up to fade.
