Re: Scottish independence
Alex Salmond did not come across in a positive way during that interview IMO. Comparing a YES vote without every single demand of Salmond's campaign, to the Crimea referendum was reaching. Also he refuses to acknowledge that should the vote go his way, he has no mandate to decide how the rest of the...

Re: Scottish independence
If Scotland does become independent, I will have to decide if I should apply for citizenship, as my Grandmother (on my Father's side) is Scottish. Seems like a lot of effort in light of your earlier post. It doesn't matter what the SNP want, or get. I live in London, and do not have any plans to vi...

If Scotland does become independent, I will have to decide if I should apply for citizenship, as my Grandmother (on my Father's side) is Scottish. And I could also apply for Irish citizenship, as my Mother's side of the family come from Ireland.

Re: When did Nick Clegg lose it?
If Margaret Thatcher day were ever to become a thing, I hope it becomes a day of protest throughout the country. An annual reminder of the vicious woman, and a chance to publicly bash the Tories with full media coverage.

Re: When did Nick Clegg lose it?
There is no comparison between the Ukip leader and the First Minister of Scotland, who has delivered on a huge swath of pre election pledges. Please do not mash their names together. Maybe not comparable based on a record of achievements, but personality wise they are both brash, angry, and panderi...

Re: When did Nick Clegg lose it?
I voted LibDem in the hope that they would form a coalition with Labour against the Tories. So for me personally, the speech in the Rose garden was a moment of horror.
But I think the moment he lost it even with the more loyal LibDems, was the Tuition Fee "apology". A total betrayal.

Re: Multiple Monitor issues
Have you set your main monitor from the Screen Resolution part of the Control Panel? http://www.reviversoft.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/2012-08-23_14-49-31.png Select the display you want to be the main one, and you should see a checkbox to make it your main display. http://up.metropol247.co...

Re: Europe - in or out?
I don't see how leaving the EU and going it alone will strengthen our position in the world. Nor do I see how allowing the Tories to trample over human rights, workers rights, and a global, humanitarian, approach to relations with other countries - will make this country a nicer place to live in. Do...

When it comes to choosing between the new, unknown, and uncertain - and the status quo. Typically people will vote for the devil they know.
