Re: There an election this year.....
Got my postal vote on Friday. I've been affected by the boundary changes, so my village has been split in half, and our MP is based in a town that is further away, part of another borough, and part of another county (Cheshire). Ngl, not a fan of our Labour candidate

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
So as predicted, most Currys stores are now absorbing PC World and taking on a very simple but nice brand. It was pointless to have both running side by side with so much product crossover. http://www.soultsretailview.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/currys_pcworld_northumberland_street_graham_soul...

Re: With all the recent inflationary price rises, is there stuff you just won’t pay for now?
One thing that is increasingly becoming a less sensible purchase is my Trio Card. In Merseyside, you can basically pay for a ticket that lets you travel across parts of or all of the Liverpool City region (Depending on what you pay) on train, ferry, or bus for a certain cost per week, month, or year...

Re: The Very Official McDonalds (and other fast food outlets) Thread
So I've been on holiday to Tenerife, and I have to say that Spanish McDonalds is better than British McDonalds, in my opinion. Their Mcflurrys are much more customisable than what we have here, they offer quite a few food and drink items we don't have. The only thing they lack that I like are the Ch...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
I think there is a very simple solution to those people who do not like Pres Cafe, its moderators, Clean Feed, or its offshoots... Start your own copycat forum? If it lasts longer than a week, and gets more than 5 followers, and is created out of a love for presentation, rather than a hatred of peo...

Re: Jeremy Kyle returns to broadcasting
He has every right to come back to broadcasting, but after everything that went down on his 'TV Show' (And I use the term loosely), is it right to give him a platform, when he has never even so much as apologised to the family of Steve Dymond? Kyle has mentioned that he'd discuss it once the legal ...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
So, even though I have been in TVF/TVLF/PC for a few years now, I characterise myself as a 'youngun' on the grounds that I have not been on a journey through all these websites for the entirety of their existence, so I cannot comment on every single thing that has happened, is happening, or whatever...

I just like stating things that are a seemingly foregone conclusion.

Re: There an election this year.....
I think part of the reason its been called now is because of the recent announcement that inflation has fallen to 2.3%, which was the higher end of where they wanted it to be anyway. Sunak is clearly going for the 'It's the economy, stupid' argument and trying to justify that the Tories will continu...

Re: There an election this year.....
Funnily enough, I studied Politics at University, so looking at it all from this perspective, there are going to be some things I would be interested in seeing: 1. Turnout- Last election, Turnout was 67.3%, which while lower than 2017, I would call an anomolous drop, given how close both elections ...
