Re: End of MAY
The last thing she would want to do is give the country she apparently ‘loves so much’ a Jeremy Corbyn government after all she clearly cares about her legacy. She’s pledged to stay on as an MP and she is true blue. She also probably doesn’t want anyone to get a Conservative majority in the near fut...

Re: End of MAY
I agree with you on Rory Stewart.
I wouldn’t say Corbyn ever really operates disrespectfully. He suffers from a type of scrutiny politicians on the right do not.
That said I don’t think he would make a good prime minster.

Re: End of MAY
She is a lightweight who comes across as very cold. I think she may have picked up handful more votes if it wasn’t for the events of last week but she was never going to go far. I’m sure she’ll have appealed to average Daily Mail/Daily Express reader with unsubstantiated claims though. https://m.you...

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
I would guess the plan was to place this brand in Asda stores as well. Would explain why Sainsbury’s logo is absent and it’s the font on the word ‘taste’ is similar to that of Asda’s Extra Special range.

I think you’ve made the case for why they haven’t closed one down yet.

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
I don't understand it, the Sunburst linked nicely to parent without being overly obvious, in the way they've tried to force the brand in the past and added some much needed character to the Asda logo.

Re: US Election
I think the common theme with both these two big votes this year is very rich individuals manipulating the poor and uneducated to give these rich individuals the end they want. It's pretty uncanny how both the EU ref and the US election nights played out pretty much the same way. It'll be painted as...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
Of course they still do the Diet version, if you're like me and have given up the red stuff. Do we know how much of the French operation is going? I was surprised when the first store I saw when I landed at Charles De Gaulle the other was indeed a 'M&S Food' as it was branded over there, I see t...

Re: News Corp buy The Wireless Group (formerly UTV Media)
Not everyone at TalkSport is happy about the takeover: http://radiotoday.co.uk/2016/07/colin-murray-quits-talksport-after-news-corp-deal/ A man of principle. The type of principle that led him to chase the money by leaving the BBC for TalkSPORT in the first place, but still, principle. Leaving comp...

Re: The next big leader?
Clearly, the Opposition can have a substantial impact on Government policy Tell Jeremy Corbyn that. Of course the difference is the leader of the opposition doesn't tend to be the party leader who lost the last election anyway, so you'd keep having elections under your proposed system. There is cle...
