Re: Another High Street Rebrand

Sheffield was the first Wilkinson to carry the new branding, I think in October 2008. Sheffield also has the last shop to open with the old branding on their London Road branch. It was a trial store a long with a couple of others in other cities - and it had a full refurb inside too, including new ...

Re: Black

It does look superb, and I'm hoping they start opening new stores across the country. It looks like the sort of place that could appeal to a wide audience. I just hope they have better customer support and a nicer image than 'The Tech Guys' which really is just overpriced stupidity - there's a lot o...

Re: Cheque printing...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

I tried to look for the last post by Ginofish, but unfortunately search isn't working - brings up six empty pages, all with an error when I try and search for anything.

Re: The Average Metropol user's phone

Thinking of getting the Motorola Milestone on contract, seeing as it's going cheap because there's a new version out. There's all sorts of nonsense though on whether it supports tethering or not - does anyone know if this is supported on a UK Milestone? I'd be disappointed for it to arrive and not b...

Re: Those motorway LED sign thingys

They've installed some of these things on the dual carriageways near where I live, and for the past few weeks they've just been displaying 'SIGN UNDER TEST', but now they're showing 'NEW SCHOOL YEAR 01 SEP - ALLOW EXTRA JOURNEY TIME' or something to that effect. But hardly anyone uses these roads to...

Re: Location specific Google ads

I had the same results, literally a few metres from where I am - quite strange.

Re: Location specific Google ads

I've noticed Google Maps can now pinpoint your location right down to your street - by clicking the button below the direction control arrows in the corner. I'm sure I've heard before somewhere that it's something to do with IP Addresses?

Re: Partition disaster

I don't have the laptop back until tomorrow evening, so I can't check right now, but from looking at the internet, Sony laptops don't include this. I'd like to avoid this option if I can anyway, I'd like to keep the Sony Recovery Partition just in case. Usually F10 starts the recovery partition but...
