The thing is, that policeman who threw the old bloke to the ground causing him to have a heart attack had authority and passion. But where were his redeeming features? (Do you observe how I skilfully avoid the hitler analogy?) You can decry the thousands of haters as unpalatable, or you could take ...

I'm reading that and writing this on a MacBook Pro thingy. I get the idea that for most people, they probably don't really need a PC-shaped box to do what they want to do, but it's a struggle to remind myself that most people's idea of computing begins and ends with Facebook and Hotmail, and that a ...

Its persistent group chat stuff is handled better than MSN ever did, but its UI has way too much white space (for some reason, I think only the Mac client lets you fix this with CSS). A few of my friends mis...

Re: My Lovely Horse Lasagne
Similarly, all this fuss made me recall just how *vile* I found crispy pancakes as a kid. Despite it being about 15 years since I was last near one, I still can't forget that horrid slimy layer of what apparently was meant to be pancake. Then the treat of the filling - some variation on molten sick....

My head hurts. Any chance we could get through a sentence in this thread without several double negatives?

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
I knew a surprising number of people who went there from time to time for video games. I have no idea how much this cost, but I suppose there's some rationale for renting a game you'd pretty much immediately trade-in anyway.

*that* one. Sometimes I go in just to see if someone's brought in more Seinfeld VHSs.
