Re: Another High Street Rebrand
Which features have gone? I don't think there's a real risk of any court requiring HBOS to be split off, is there? That would leave Lloyds with a similar number of branches to Yorkshire Bank! And just to prove how small YB is, Yorkshire Bank isn't even that company's main trading name. Yorkshire Ba...

Re: 'Windows 8.1'
But now they have actually have a product officially called 'Windows 8.1'. There is no way that can be argued to be a brand-named version of windows as a way of avoiding a differing internal version number, '8.1' *is* a version number...except it's not because it's still NT 6.2! Only Microsoft coul...

^The actual final Abbey logo was the same as Santander's. I assume you mean the shortlived previous one? It did seem rather soft for a bank (thanks to both the font and the pastel colour scheme), when it should be serious.

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
Search for South Street, Hull, it's on the corner of Paragon Street. I don't know how to obtain the exact link. The Tesco I mentioned is at the St Stephen's Shopping Centre, which is very close by.

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
Sainsbury's Local seem to be cutting branches. The store in Hull city centre (which they inherited when they bought Jacksons) closed down last week, apparently unable to compete with a Tesco Extra not far away.
