Re: The Barclays and other non-Lloyds/TSB Bank thread
The whole concept of that seemed so bonkers I can barely believe they invented it, but then again I guess we're talking about a country that didn't go in for PIN cards in a big way until about 2015. I've been to the USA a few times and it was staggering that they still had swipe and sign in the 201...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
And in classic TVF style, a few posts get removed for being full to the brim of unnecessary speculation and suddenly you’ve got posters proclaiming the death of the forum because they’re not allowed to do whatever they want. Some things never change… Newsroom seems still bitter about his ban from t...

Re: Public Transport in your particular part of the region
I do support the right to strikes but the RMT are guilty of strike first, talk later and I think Londoners in particular don't hold them in particularly high regard whereas other unions like ASLEF tend to be a bit more diplomatic but also their messaging is more apologetic to the public. I don't th...

Re: The New Real Thing
I find it interesting how conservative the cocacola freestyle machines in the UK are compared to the absurd number of combinations in other countries. Couple of related points - coca cola are bringing out a smaller freestyle machine, comparable to the pepsi/tango ones you see in subway but an inter...

Re: The New Real Thing
I prefer Coke Zero Vanilla and Coke Zero Cherry but I do drink Coke Zero on its own, I've never been a fan of Diet Coke.
The Freestyle machines at Five Guys have Coke Zero as well as others in a strawberry and raspberry varieties, I do like mixing them up to create a fizzy fruit punch,

Re: Public Transport in your particular part of the region
The Great British Rail project may be scrapped. Significant impact on all regions as a result, i.e nothing will change. It may be, but it's more likely it will happen albeit in a less formal way. The DfT have been wanting to sack off the franchise model for some years, and the Network Rail name is ...
