Re: Mobile advice please

From personal experience I would say that 10 MB of data a month is not enough. Over the last 30 days my phone says that in total I used around just shy of 500 MB (1/2 GB). Admittedly from what you have said I am a heavy user in comparison, but I think if you went for 3 over Virgin I would certainly ...

Re: Radio 1 problems?

The Radio 1 and some 1Xtra webcams have now been switched off (though Radio 1 are on Radio 2's webcam at present). Presumably the webcams are automated to switch between studios? Would I also be right to think that Radio 1, 1Xtra, 2 and possibly Asian Network are all hot seating it? Amazing consider...

Re: Radio 1 problems?

I heard them go off air and it made me wonder, what do BBC Radio 4 and 5 Live use as their emergency tapes?

Re: The UK is on Google Street View!

A quick tour of a few city centre streets in Cambridge and I found at least four vehicles whose number plates were clearly visible.

Re: The UK is on Google Street View!

I saw the car driving around Ipswich today. I had seen it yesterday I think but had no idea what it was (the logo was a little on the small size) and it was too far away.

Re: BBC Radio 1

I would argue they already have attempted to attract a younger audience: [*]Nick Grimshaw on Weekend Breakfast [*]Fearne and Reggie [*]Switch It has to be remembered however that a significant proportion of the schedule is given over to specialist and new music - though I would accept that during d...

Re: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Copycat tac

It will certainly be a good way to show off Windows 7 to the masses who wouldn't dream of installing a beta, or rely on hearsay to form an opinion. Or will get it preinstalled with their next PC purchase. Without a doubt they'll force it to be pre-installed. It guarantees increased income, but also...

Re: Blackberry v's Nokia E71

I have literally just got an E71 and have to admit it seems to do the trick. Mail for Exchange was easy as pie to setup. Can't comment on battery life as I haven't had it long enough yet. That would be possibly the only concern. Nokia have had some dodgy battery lifes - 1 day or less. If they are pu...

Re: Sky Broadband E-Mail

Okay, folks, help please. Have put a.surname@sky.com in the account field and the horrible nine digit password in the password field. Firstly - are you sure the username is a.surname@sky.com; mine was surname.firstname@sky.com. I don't know if they are consistent. Secondly - has POP3/IMAP been enab...

Is this: [*]a) a cynical way to reduce costs by removing the need for so much heating particularly ...
