Just spoken to someone who's on holiday with Thomas Cook. Looks like they have been prepared for the worst. Also likely that the company will collapse and that the board meeting is just a formality.

Circa 4500 jobs to go in Metro formats as part of simplification (my guess many will turn into express) Also 134 Express stores to have their opening hours cut.
