Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board
It means the site is pretty much unusable for me as it constantly logs me out. In addition I think banned people will just create another account and all this for one guy? He must be loving it! By all means lock your personal Twitter, but the whole site being locked has such a big impact. It is of c...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
And you know for a fact that HMV are trying to secure that unit, do you? Perhaps the rates alone make it unviable for them! It seems to me you are trying to construct a narrative without possession of all the facts here. I'm just giving you my opinion. The store is empty, HMV or no HMV, the landlor...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
In fairness, in common with the rest of the world, the landlord at Oxford Street probably didn't expect a global pandemic last year... It's perfectly reasonable for a commercial landlord for such a prime unit to try and get the maximum they can for it. I'm not sure why you think busyness/activeness...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
Haha, so landlords were trying to make them pay more, HMV refused and so announced a store closure, only the greedy landlords couldn't find another tenant so were forced to accept HMV's offer? It would serve them right if HMV did close (and reopen somewhere else?) and the landlord ends up without a...

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
I thought my posts were long! Let's see where we are by September. Deaths may jump again perhaps for the last time, but does that require a lockdown? I don't think so. The population will be vaccinated, unlike before. On the London tube its 70% wearing masks and the rest not, this seems to be true o...

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times
The problem is that there are apparently three million over 50s/40s that don't want it. We can't be held to ransom by them, they have been offered the jab, if they get COVID and die it is their fault and their fault alone. The NHS should make preparation, and the gov should fund it in preparation f...
