Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board

I'm not saying the new forums are a bit dead, but the first non-news bulletin use of the new Studio B set (Our Next Prime Minister) hasn't raised a comment on either. I'd like to join one of the forums, but this deadness is keeping me away - too few active members and it becomes hard to have a conv...

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread

It is annoying that they don't automatically deduct the refunds off your next shop - they rely (cynically you might suggest) on you remembering you have one.

Have you tried clearing your browser's cache? I ended up doing that today and finally found a couple bits started workin...

Re: Public Transport in your particular part of the region

I don't mind USBs but given a lot of phones now are USB C, having USB A sockets or even USB C sockets will be a bit redundant as time goes on and technology progresses. I carry a USB A to C cable with me for on-the-go charging purposes. My gut is that USB A won't ever be dropped from sockets at caf...

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread

The Co-op now have a two-tier pricing system for their meal deals, £4 for non-members and £3.50 if you're a member. A 25p increase for non-members and a reduction of 25p for members. I'd best become a member It's only £1 to join. There are food deals every Monday on the Co-op app where they offer m...

I would suggest our delay at investing in more renewable sources is one reason we are so exposed now.

Re: Fuel situation in your area

The fuel duty charged was reduced by 5p a litre as of 6pm but if a retailer charged the same amount as before 6pm they would just be able to pocket the extra.
