I was strongly against reimposing mandatory masks because, aside from it being demonstrably obvious that they don't do anything, they are a restriction.

There was someone being interviewed on the news earlier about it, and how she has brain fog and feels tired all the time etc, and I couldn’t help but wonder if it was just the consequences of an unhealthy lifestyle that she was describing. I’m not particularly savvy with stuff like this. We’re assured that data will be anonymous - if so what’s the issue?


I've read several reports that it will be incredibly easy to deanonymise the data.

Groups of GPs are campaigning against this sharing, partly on these grounds.

We have until June 23rd to opt out if we don't want our data shared.

Derby's shopping centre, formerly Westfield and Intu is undergoing a name change and rebrand. I was fully expecting them to revert to the pre-westfield name of 'Eagle Centre' but the new owners have gone a bit left field with DERBION.

The Nottingham one is similarly disorienting, uneven levels with short sets of steps everywhere, quite easy to find that you're on a completely different floor to the one you thought you were on.

Beautiful exterior but not a pleasant shop at all. It'll make a great hotel I hope.
