Re: Digital Spy Watch News and Information Board

He probably talks more sense than half of the people on there.

I wonder if he's still emailing obscene show suggestions to Challenge?

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

We had Hermes for an Amazon delivery last year. We were away from home for a couple of days and came home to find the package had been left outside pushed behind the dustbin. And it had rained heavily in the meantime and got ruined. Thankfully they sent a replacement free of charge that wasn't deliv...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

I've never really understood the vinyl craze myself, it's always seemed a bit hipstery to me. It's arguable whether the audio quality of vinyl really is better than that of CD (though it's obviously better than the lossy internet downloads and streaming most websites offer), especially as much of th...

Re: Digital Spy Watch News and Information Board

I've barely looked in the broadcasting forum for years, it's basically just been a "bash the BBC and call for the licence fee to be scrapped" forum for years now.

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

I'm wondering how shit Amazon will get now, with their main non-online competition gone. With most internet DVD stores disapearing, like sendit and play.com, Amazon stopped being as competitive as they were, their free delivery service has got shitter and slower (often stuck at "waiting for dispatch...

Re: MFI and Woolworths

Jeeeeeeeesus! OMG that brings back memories! I remember the black ADS-Anker tills that they still had until the late 90's. Also quite telling that many/most Woolworths stores still had that shopfit and signeage up to when they closed down 2 years ago - kindof makes you realise how tired they had be...

Re: Brexit

It's not even about any of the arguments any more. They've all been proven to be bunk. We already have sovereignty, we have border control, we could even have had blue passports if we wanted....we had a say in EU law and can change it to our advantage if we want. The EU quotas are saving the fishin...

Re: Brexit

My sister and 15 of her colleagues just lost their jobs today as a result of brexit and her employer losing their EU funding. So that should help tell you what I think about this. My sister in law has moved home to Sweden prematurely and my brother in law now faces a race against time to get a job ...

Re: Brexit

Theres going to be a hell of a lot more than 16 jobs lost as a result of brexit, which I'm sure you know. I'm sure you're alright, jack, though. As long as you've still got your job and your blue passport, who cares about other people, eh? Maybe you need to remember that real people are being affect...
