Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

well luckily the government has given Flyebe a lifeline - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-51113895 That went well, then. There were a few interesting tweets on Wednesday night, when it was all going to pot. I wonder how much in the way of unpaid landing fees justifies you impounding a plane? ht...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

One wonders if this is a rent issue. The question is what happens with their other outlets in Westfield? It is a huge unit. I wonder what'll fill it, and if they're downsizing or pulling out completely. Arcadia's only other unit there is a combined Dorothy Perkins/Burton. I asked at the till and sh...

Re: The Barclays and other non-Lloyds/TSB Bank thread

In the end, my mother gave me permission to access her internet banking to resolve it, which they'd rather you use anyway, once I found her PINsentry reader! Why HAS Newsroom got such a bee in his bonnet over having received a warning?

RBS Group is rebranding as NatWest Group later this summer due to 80% of their customers bank with the Natwest brand.
I'm sure that'll go down well in Edinburgh.

Re: The Barclays and other non-Lloyds/TSB Bank thread

They must have known we were talking about them: there's a new card design out: https://www.tescobank.com/assets/website/img/credit-cards/strawberry-big-contactless.png that 'Credit card.' text looks really clumsy, but I appreciate the dummy name they've chosen. this page has been updated and sugges...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

The Tony Hall thread is out of control, with certain forum members effectively bullying others who disagree with their opinion. TV Forum is increasingly becoming an unpleasant place to visit. Glad to see the mods have dealt with it and deleted all the off-topic posts. I've forgotten who made the of...
