I believe the only Argoses with no catalogues are the Argos Digital stores where they have tablets instead of touchscreens.


Even the new Digital Stores popping up in sainsburys still have the traditional Laminated Catalogue as well as the Tablets

I think it was a masterstroke that Wilko smartened up their image just as Woolworths closed, previously they had that old logo and dated look up to that point and did come across as a glorified pound shop where you'd get the impression you'd be buying tat. These days its fairly middle of the ...

Which reminds me of the period from around the mid-90s until the 00s where there were 3 different classes of Argos stores- the "regular" stores, the "extra" stores and the sort of in between (where you could order the "extra" stuff but had to wait for it to be delivered to the store). I think ...

I don't see the point in Woolies coming back. What they did sell was overpriced and could be purchased cheaper elsewhere.

As mentioned Wilko has cornered part of Woolies market with household and pick 'n' mix products, while Poundland has the budget end.


And every other damn shop on the high ...
