Re: The Co-op Thread

Did that new store replace an old one and they just brought across the EPOS computers?

Re: Another High Street Rebrand

I presume this is the first advert with the refreshed Boots branding. Having passed a few stores, I think the window promo posters etc look pretty good with the logo free'd from it's oval. I'd be surprised if they replace exterior signage given the size of the store estate, but I guess we'll see. I...

So what's the thinking behind putting Jack's branded stuff in Tesco's entrance promo asile? I'm hardly going to buy some, think "this ain't too bad" and then drive to Leeds to stock up?
I wouldn't be surprised if some of those products are identical to the Tesco own brand ones.

Re: The Co-op Thread

When will The Co-Operative Bank rebrand, I wonder? It's no longer owned by the Co-Op, and is still using the old generic branding.

Re: Another High Street Rebrand

It wasn't one of the film/TV show spoof adverts, is it? They've been using logos in the style of whatever they've been using. I presume it was either the Ghostbusters of Wizard of Oz one, unless they've put the fat bloke in some other film now. Looks like we've seen the last of those ads. Thanks fo...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand

Just saw a TV ad for Halifax bank, with what looked like an updated logo on it - it's no longer stripy and has a new font.

Re: ***THE OFFICIAL ALL NEW SAFEWAY THREAD***

Can’t help but wonder, given Morrisons clearly don’t have an issue with their name being plastered all over it, why they don’t just stock Morrisons-branded stuff instead. Looks like they may have had a rethink on the safe way brand as they appear to be rolling out Morrisons Daily brand rather than ...

Looks like department store problems aren't limited to the UK. US giant Sears has collapsed.
