Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread

If those scanners are replacing the mag stripe/QR code physical nectar cards, they'll need to update the SmartShop readers which only unlock the portable barcode readers with a mag stripe which have only been installed in my local store.

Morrisons are proposing to close four stores: Ince, Shirley, Swindon Regent Circus and Crawley.
The Crawley store is only five years old and was purpose built.

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread

As you walk in, they have a food counter for Fitzrovia's office workers to create their own meals, with the sandwiches in the same area, there is stock largely left out on the sho...

Noticed that Paul Akinbola has posted twice about Challenge over there in recent days. If I recall, he also got banned from Challenge's Facebook for posting similar nonsense?

He's been given a warning already. Can't complain the mods aren't doing their job properly on TVF at least.

DVDfever making a return to TVF after eight years and getting pretty much the same reaction to his posts as when he joined.
And now he's started a 'Jeremy Vine' thread to moan about a tabloid radio presenter as cover. Typical DS nonsense.

Edit: It appears he left DS after "trolls run riot."

Recently noticed Greatest Hits has appeared on FM where I am (after years on AM). No idea what it has replaced but even their website doesn’t seem to advertise this.
Assuming you're in the Midlands, it replaced Absolute Radio earlier this year.

Every time I walk through the Croydon Village Outlet, formerly an Allders, you can see how great it was as a four floor department store. All that they use is the ground floor these days, which is full of independent small scale retailers. The lift still worked in 2012 however. https://www.youtube.c...
