Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

Isn't it basically a high-end version of the beauty counters at Boots and Superdrug?

Was I ...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

What is it with Riaz getting a boner over schools output? He's just as bad with this as with the TVS archive.

Seeing as DS won't remove Akinbola (IIRC he's "LondonBite1" on there), and he keeps filling the Broadcasting forum with crap, thn yes, DS probably is a better place for them.

Riaz has gone a bit loopy, quoting some long forgotten thread from 2016 to try and prove himself right.
He used to be a teacher? What in? Finding archive tapes in a skip?

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times

My local Tesco Express has a one way system that nobody is adhering to. It's also pot luck if you have to queue or not, when I went on Sunday afternoon, I had to queue, yet today there wasn't one. The one adult rule in Sainsbury's appears to be helping in making the time stood in a queue shorter, ev...

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times

Speaking of Sainsbury's, I've found them to be far the worst locally when it comes to getting stock back to (somewhat) normal levels - what's everyone else's experiences like? I've found Sainsbury's are still low on tinned food and spreads locally. However they're fine for toilet rolls now. The str...

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times

The one adult policy goes national in Sainsbury's from today (Friday) and limits will start to be removed from some items from Sunday.

UHT milk, pasta and tinned tomatoes will continue to be rationed.

Gibraltar is lovely although word of warning, make sure if you have any Gibraltar banknotes, spend them in Gibraltar! I had one and couldn't spend it in the UK and no UK bank would change it!
I sometimes get Gibraltar coins over here that has sneaked into circulation.

Whatever you may think of Mike Ashley, those stores would be better in his hands than the current Debenhams management.
