Re: The Very Official McDonalds (and other fast food outlets) Thread
McDonald's is still fast food, but cooler now.
I love it when my fast food is cold.
The food at the one I visited the other weekend was nice and hot.
I dare say customising the order may help to ensure it's fresh. For example, with chips choosing to have 'no salt'. It may mean waiting ...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
With regards to Morrisons one thing has improved in the past year. The cafe now has an '8 item breakfast' option, where you can select what you want. No more having to order the standard breakfast and pay extra for items you want, even if you'd asked to remove a different item.
Also, at my nearest ...

Re: The Twitter eXodus
It's worth baring in mind that Elon recently changed X so that paid users could earn a share of the revenue from interactions with their posts. This was presumably to increase traffic on X and advert revenue. The downside is that it effectively encourage people to make controversial opinions, as ...

Re: The Twitter eXodus
a shame it's taken so long for other people to finally catch up, but at least it's finally happening.
I think it's a case that until now there hasn't really been a breakthrough alternative to Twitter/X.
Threads was buggy at launch, which I suspect put some people off, in addition to it being ...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
The decision to heavily moderate a thread in the same way as the GB News thread is genuinely baffling. I understand why they want more conversation to happen, but forcing it like this isn't going to make posters more inclined to post on the thread, if not forum.
Ultimately it's up to the admin ...

Looks like Homebase is heading for administration. The Range are reportedly looking to take a chunk of it as a pre-pack sale.

Pleased to see that Barclaycards can finally be used with Google Pay/Google Wallet. It's been a long wait...
I must have missed that announcement from them, just need them to support Samsung Wallet now.
At one point some of the banks and credit card companies were trying to have their own ...

Maybe they've got a previously banned member trying to register multiple times in a short period of time. Had that happen on TVF and it was a bit of an inconvenience rejecting and/or blocking their multiple accounts.

Re: The Very Official McDonalds (and other fast food outlets) Thread
I'm quite enjoying seeing the McDonaldland characters back again (though my wife, who has a phobia of Grimace, isn't so much) - but is anyone going to mention the fact that the business is 84 years old, and it's only the 50th birthday of their first UK store?
I suspect that McDonalds might not ...

Re: There an election this year.....
What I find odd is the suggestion that reform's vote share is somehow surprising. It's the same UKIP got in 2015 when they came second in several places, before said vote being reabsorbed into the Tory fold, before reappearing this year.
If anything all it shows if they've been more efficient ...

Indeed The Sun have endorsed Labour at the 11th hour. I wonder how long that front page has been waiting in the wings for 'Time for a new manager (and we don't mean sack Southgate' reads awfully like the big sports news is supposed to be England out of the Euros, but we're still (somehow) in ...
