Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board
I'd like to sign in but the image verification for the password reset hasn't been working recently. Is there any possibility this could be fixed, please?

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread
It's not a brand new concept - there is also one in Manchester near Piccadilly Square and I know of at least one other in London, at Wood Green in Haringey.
It does look great, but I can't see it being rolled out anywhere except busy urban areas where there is enough footfall to keep it busy ...

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
It seems like Sainsbury's only bothers to install Pay at Pump when it's time for new pumps to be installed - most of their stations still seem to have the older blue pumps.
ASDA, Morrisons and Tesco seem to be much more consistent with pay at pump across the board (although Asda only seem to put a ...

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread
Morrisons have been replacing their prehistoric pay at pump terminals with some new Inventec ones which are far better. I'd say I won't miss inserting my More card into the old terminals 17 times to try and get my points - but those days are gone anyway!

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread
Looks like a Diebold Nixdorf self checkout instead of NCR - never seen Tesco use them before. Perhaps a trial?

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
It does look a bit meh doesn't it. I also like that this brand new store has ancient IBM EPOS equipment found in the nearest skip (or more likely recovered from another store closure)
They run their card terminals seperately to their EPOS system now so I assume they hit some technical limitations ...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
After Next removed their garden range from their Home stores that had it (which happened a couple of years ago) it looks like they've partnered with Homebase to fill the gap left in the stores:

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
I do wonder how Debenhams let it get to this point. We don't know all the details of course, but you have to wonder how many of their stores were loss making and falling to bits - and dragging the whole brand down as a result. Why not focus on the stores that do make a profit, invest in the ones ...
