Re: Cashzone ATMs

There’s quite a lot around London, I think in quite a few train stations. I always remember them for the Rachel Stephens lookalike during the “please wait” screens who looks very happy to be holding a wad of cash.

Re: Another High Street Rebrand

Liverpool’s large 2 floor HMV will also be moving to a much smaller unit, must be happening at quite a few locations.

Who on earth is watching these adverts and thinking “yes, that’s the company I wish to bank with”?
They annoy me, but not quite enough to make me want to close my account.
Yes but open one?

Re: Adverts that irritate and entertain

Currently annoying me: The Currys PC World adverts where they get employees to shout in a monotone voice about current offers. Far better than the latest annoying Nationwide ad with "Chrimbo Limbo". Fucking awful. They’re Flo and Joan who I saw in Edinburgh and were brilliant so it’s a shame they’v...

With Intu being taken over, I wonder if this will mean all their shopping centres will rebrand back to their original names and lose their distinctive intu corporate quirky branding.
Christ I hope so. I wonder if any customer has ever uttered the name “intu Trafford Centre”.

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

In light of Monarch’s collapse (not a high street chain but I’m sure they flew over a few high streets) I have to post their utterly bewildering advert campaign from last year. https://youtu.be/6IxOPBA8Grk Who the fuck chooses a low cost airline with a flight time of at most two and a bit hours beca...

Re: The Very Official McDonalds (and other fast food outlets) Thread

Has anyone made much use of the table service? I've only used it when paralytic in order to reduce the chances of me falling over and smacking my teeth on the counter.

I'm surprised it doesn't slow down the counter service.

Currently doing the rounds on Twitter, I think this could well be the mother of all local news stories.

Re: Decision '17

It'll be interesting to see if there will be any chance of Corbyn losing his own seat. He's had a big lead in the last few elections but then so did Nick Clegg up until 2015 with some polls thinking he'd get ousted. There's only going to be so many Momentum members in Islington North.

Re: Baffling local news stories

To be honest I can imagine there's plenty of 'types' who read these papers and will happily type every letter of these URLs out to find out what it is.

I can't decide whether I love or hate the new Sainsbury's adverts.
Hate. Dreadful adverts made for dreadful people. Have they got a new ad agency? This and that awful Christmas ad have been a total step in the wrong direction.
