Who stops for Cotton Traders' clothing?
Probably the same people who get the wooden ducks from W H Smiths.

Re: Brexit

At the same time, all the mutterings from people who have met her in the last day are suggesting all she's wanting to do is build a consensus for her existing deal. There seems to zero recognition of the scale of the defeat she suffered. Although I do like the irony of her bringing her deal basicall...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

Speaking of shite, British wrestling is apparently in a boom phase, according to cityprod, and Doctor Who doesn't want to compete with the behemoth that is WoS Wrestling. With ratings that don't even trouble an old The Chase repeat, who could argue with him? You've forgotten the bit about ratings n...

Re: Infospace Chatrooms

And you joined up specially to reply to an 11 year old thread? One which had one on-topic post at that?!

99% of BM11's posts seem to be based on his own personal views rather than based on a factual viewpoint.
Views formed by a fear of what tabloid paper front pages might contain.

Re: Adverts that irritate and entertain

Does anyone like the Nationwide poetry adverts? They're not as bad as the Flo and Joan ones but they still make me want to turn over. As I’ve said in this thread before I just cannot comprehend how they could possibly compel anyone to choose Nationwide over another bank/building society. Not only i...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

There's rota-chat (dull) and then there's "what if something happens this afternoon and the normal presenter has already been on once today"-rota-chat (WTF-ery).

I don't think TVNewsViewer can identify the difference.
