Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

well luckily the government has given Flyebe a lifeline - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-51113895 I think people forget how reliant some areas of the UK are on internal flights - for example at Belfast Airport there would only be 4 flights without Flybe! Southampton Airport would also be adver...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

Harshy's obsession with why he's not getting HDR, while apparently not being able to tell the difference between 720p50 and 1080i25, is doing my head in.

Re: Adverts that irritate and entertain

My exact first comment when I saw the ad was "well that's nothing like real life. 1) nothing ever arrives at the same time and 2) you'd get 14 deliveries from 12 different takeaways". Lots of complaints about the peloton advert where a woman suffers life changing exercise over a year to go from 116 ...

Re: Public Transport in your particular part of the region

That's the idea of using generic TOC names to prevent having to go through a massive rebrand every time the franchise changes out the window then?! The rules changed so that incoming TOC's had to either sell their brand to the DfT at the end of the franchise, or return all the stock / stations to u...

It's true though, last time I banged my head and died it was proper painful. Made me sure never too do it again, I've never felt quite right since.

Does the BM in BM11 stand for bowel movement? It's just that everything that user posts is shit.

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

What is JKDerry exactly? He writes these long posts where he seems to make out he knows what he's on about but it largely seems to be stuff he's read on TV Forum reworded into endless, repeating posts. You'd almost think he used to work in TV but I don't think he has and he's just making assumption...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

Oh joy, *another* 80s ITV thread for people to get all nostalgic about while forgetting that hindsight is 20:20 and that modern values and expectations didn't apply back then.

That place really needs a "The Archive" sub forum for people to reminisce in.

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

I'm avoiding the place today. While I'm interested in what's been done, the childish wingeing from some of the posters over there have taken all the enjoyment out of seeing something new. It's going to be hell when they all find out their imagined changes aren't happening. I'm sure some of them stil...
