Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

I can't wait for the BBC to finish rolling our their new font. I can't believe a thread about a font has been going for 47 pages across 2 years, saying essentially the same thing since page 1.

Re: Chris Evans on Virgin Radio breakfast (2019)

How is the Chris Evans Virgin show faring with audience figures?

Similarly the Radio 2 changes? I've not heard any massive backlash or anything like we did for Mayo & Whiley so assume things can't be too bad?

Isn't that logo a few years old now? According to Facebook they've used it since 2016.

Re: Brexit

the Remain campaign should really have made a stronger case out of these facts. The remain campaign, otherwise known as "the agents of project fear"... They tried to (evidently not very successfully) but just got accused of scaremongering by the leave side, who would of course never do such a thing!

Re: Another High Street Rebrand

Speaking of "the" - whats the deal with Carphone Warehouse?

Just taking these 2 branches in Leeds city centre you have Carphone Warehouse and The Carphone Warehouse less than one mile apart on the same road.

Any ideas?

Noticed a couple of oddities when in Norwich city centre recently
Must have been a quiet day for Norwich, then. I live here and usually spot multiple oddities most days.

Apparently they’ve done a deal to transfer most of the show features and jingles from his Radio 2 breakfast show to the new show on Virgin Radio.

If that’s the case, what exactly was the point of moving to Virgin in the first place?

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

It seems Conor98 has now been banned but someone called Conor15 has started posting both with the same regions listed. All very odd.

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

What I didn't mention was the even more bizarre PM I got from Conor98 entitled "BBCTelevision is insane" which read: I need your help since you're like the only one I can trust. BBCTelevision is going insane at me because he wants some stupid apology. But guess what? He doesn't deserve one because o...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

Was anyone witness to the bizarre turn of events last night? A new member started a thread on the premise "British TV is dull now compared to the past" - with the past being essentially the early 00s. Whilst the point made initially wasn't too out there or controversial (I think many people agree), ...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

So what was said? Would you complain if the panel were made up of four Brexiteers? In any case, you have no idea how Tom Newton Dunn voted. I’ve been in conversation with the Executive Producer of the programme, and he’s taken great care to ensure that the discussion is editorially balanced, includ...
