That US election thread seriously needs shut down. It hasn’t been about broadcasting in months. The politics board closed for a reason.

DS forums are nothing but a haven for cranks and fruitcakes, and that's been the case for a long time. Channel 5 seems to attract the most inflammatory discussions there, weirdly enough. To be honest I'm surprised the forums weren't shut down years ago.

Strawberry David brought up the Heidi Game then threw a fit when someone expanded on his point, so he decided to leave the forum because “I’m proper daft compared to you”. Surprisingly, he didn’t bring up that he’s a Jewish autistic ...

Of course Mr Shortcake’s (that’s my name for Strawberry David now) favourite channels are ITV2, Sky Sports Football and ITVBe.

Also, Technologist’s formatting is atrocious. I’m sure his ramblings are interesting but they’re unreadable.

I'm my experience people who are annoying on forums are never going to not be annoying on forums, and the best thing to do for the sake of your blood pressure is to just add them to your ignore list.

You do then have to resist the temptation to dismiss the warning and view their posts anyway ...
