I like that the mods are very firm on no political discussion. I think if other websites had that approach, the internet would be a happier place. I’m afraid they were also blocking non political posts. Just general opinions about a show or channel. Maybe they thought it was a useless comment or so...

I believe that’s what happened Rob. And I advise others to move on.

The only thing I have cut back on is beer. It’s no longer an easy choice to have a beer with a meal, as it adds a big chunk on the bill. And I think phone prices are getting silly, I think this iPhone will be my last as well.

I think they are trying to be funny as my account has been marked as “departing shortly”. I don’t really find it funny….. but at least they followed my request hopefully.

I’m afraid the new rules do not explain why mods think they can attempt to alter the flow of a debate by censoring certain posts they do not agree with. It didn’t work in the past and it won’t work now. No thanks.

I have kind of given up with Pres Cafe, the mods pick and choose what is posted in threads they have locked down. When open debate is not allowed, it's all rather pointless.
