Re: Digital voice switchover

If it's the same as the Sky changeover, the network seems to detect a phone plugged into the router and the old copper line goes dead in about ten minutes.

I've also noted that with Whoosh, you pay the Express prices, which are often higher than those for the same product in a Metro.

Surely a flatty is a flat white, which is a type of coffee?

Quite clever of Rob, I'd say.

Thank you.

For those that don't remember, I originated that name, plus the sadministrator, many years ago on TVF.

You have to press the button to get to the spirits in the Trowbridge Tesco in Wiltshire. I think the pause until the door opens is while the CCTV turns to that aisle and focusses on you.

Re: More English flags in your area?

Lots of mini roundabouts and other white bits of road have been painted in Wiltshire, but little sign of flag flying. Wiltshire Council is having a hissy fit and sending out press releases saying that the council tax payers will have to pay for the red to be painted over.

I see New Outlook is, at last, supporting pst files, but only after a fashion. All my filing has been in a pst file ever since the dawn of email, so I won't be changing over untill full pst support, as in Old Outlook, is available.

Re: Paywalls

We're mostly Newsquest titles round here and they're sort-of half behind a paywall.

You get 20 page reads, then they want you to pay for any more.

Not sure whether they realise that you just clear your cookies and carry on.
