I've noticed the TV Live Forum archive seems to give me a 500 error when I try to view any discussion. I've started a thread on Pres Cafe about this but I'm unsure if the moderators will allow it or if anyone in TV Pres will take any action.

Just spotted that the GB News thread is no longer being “proactively moderated” as of now. The Talk TV thread remains the same.

On the forum, the Admin has said that due to “technical/security reasons”, Pres Cafe has been restricted to “certain geographic locations for the foreseeable future”.

I posted in the BBC Yorkshire and Lincolnshire news thread with a link about one of the weather presenters quitting Look North. They deleted it and gave me a warning, and then someone else posted the same news with no source or comment. Needless to say, I reported the new post too - if I deserved ...

The policy on removing links to content 'websnatched' is a real PITA, especially as they don't then replace the link with one which relates to the 'source' the content was originally "snatched" from...

I'd been thinking recently since the GB News and Talk TV News threads on Pres Café were changed to moderated-first they've become really tame and lost a lot of the fun.

Then yesterday I made the mistake of properly venturing into DigitalSpy Broadcasting threads for the first time in ages ...

The forum is now restricted to users only, and an account is needed to read posts, otherwise it just says “No categories were found.”

Perhaps it's a case of rose-tinted spectacles to some degree - I don't think TV Forum was entirely free of hyperbole in people's reactions
