Surely "TV Home Forum" should be TF1 ? What if we want to talk about the French broadcaster TF1, which launched on 13th February 1935 in France? I'm sat here, staring at my ViewSonic TFT (aka VST1) monitor and typing on my Microsoft keyboard (aka MSK1), feeling very confused! At approxima...

Yes, this is the thread about middle eights.
Which thread do you post in if you want to talk about sitting on the toilet, whilst playing with your Wii, eating After Eights and listening to songs that contain middle eights?

That doesn't sound a very good solution if it deletes the last entry sometimes. The method I have used on long and complicated documents is to place a unique word at your last edit point (I used "oscardog") then simply do a search when you next load the file. It's worked for me for years!...

Re: Microsoft Word

Does anyone know how, when you open a document, to make Word return to the last editing point? So it puts the caret where it was when you closed the document. Apparently according to this website , you can press "Shift+F5" to move the caret to the last editing point. However, there is app...

Too much spyware on Limewire. How can media files contain spyware!? The actual Limewire software is bundled with Spyware. I spent about three days cleaning up a PC at Source once, because some spoon had decided to install it. Never used it, but Frostwire is apparently a fork of Limewire that doesn'...

BANG and Banksoriginal is gone! Will it work on TVF? Probably not... I had to mess around with it quite a bit to get it working on this forum. (The original script assumes you're using the default phpBB template) If I find myself with another couple of hours to spare, I might have a look. Anyone wi...

Have you considered the possibility that the skin colour of the people involved may be completely coincidental ? No but it is not hard to figure out that the white police officer would not have punched with all his force to a white lady. I have heard about a number of incidents where a white woman ...

I had to think long and hard about my reply here because I was so astounded by your response and didn't want to react in an inflammatory way. My post wasn't on you personally. I apologise if you were offended. Why have you found it necessary to turn a discussion about possible abusive use of force ...

"Ignore User" functionality - Greasemonkey script

I have quickly hacked together a Greasemonkey script that will allow you to ignore certain users on this board (their posts are hidden until you click on a link). Greasemonkey is an extension for Mozilla Firefox, so this won't work in Internet Explorer. Sorry! To install: 1. Install the Greasemonkey...
