Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board

Re: Coronavirus - Strange times

If you use it, a good tip is to mute any word to do with it on Twitter (along with any other annoying topic that takes your fancy)

It's a bit burying your head in the sand but who cares!

Re: Public Transport in your particular part of the region

My local independent bus operator has put their weekly pass up a massive £12 overnight with no notice, warning or even telling the poor drivers who keep having to apologise to the miffed passengers!

Self moderation. The foe section comes in handy, you don't see anything the useless posters write which helps clean the place up a bit

I've read the SMTV comments a few times now in the YouTube Gold thread and still have no idea what the hell they are on about

Re: Ed Doolan battling dementia

Very sad news, heard it on Radio 2 - I was always listening to his shows back in the day, such a great broadcaster. In more recent years it was revealed he had a fantastic archive of radio and TV he had amassed over many years. A sad loss to midlands broadcasting.

Re: Sports Direct paying below minimum wage

What was not made at all clear in the job listing or interview was that you are 'sub employed' via a contractor working f...

Re: Sourcing Kays Catalogues

As someone who would love some old shopping catalogues to peruse, I was shocked to see some of the prices 80's and even 90's Argos catalogues go for on ebay. They are less likely to be kept than an old Radio Times or newspaper, so had to settle for discs of jpg scans! All I can say is just stick you...

I can recommend Roy's of Wroxham for being the world's most expensive supermarket. Actually, everything in Wroxham was... The branch of Boyes in Louth is/was excellent, a proper timewarp store! Plus I remember a Jackson's supermarket taking over an old Lo-Cost popping up in the Midlands but soon dis...

Re: The Tesco & Other non-Morrisons Supermarket Thread

Two large white vans from Germany (forgot the name on the side) were at the newly rebuilt Lidl in Skegness, which is close to opening. Seems a bit extreme to bring over German shop/till system installers?
