This story was doing rounds at work last week but judging on the date of the story, it makes who wonder what minds the people have in order to search for this stories. It happens all the time. Stories suddenly seem to surface and do the rounds several years after they were published for no real app...

It wasn't really the fact of his spelling (though that didn't help), it was also down to the fact he was posting all over the place anyway. It wasn't just him anyway, but the numerous kids (especially during the school holidays) and trolls that the place was filling up with had more of an impact on ...

63332 or whatever he is called is quite annoying at the moment Although he is supposedly dyslexic, the speed he races from one thread to another posting many times per hour can't exactly help his spelling, most of the time nobody can tell what he is saying He's currently obsessed with 'Blockbuster'...

Someone I know had a friend who had a cigarette butt chucked out out someone's car window land on their back seat and set fire to paperwork. The ashtrays are there for a reason- why do people insist on flicking ash and chucking butts out the window? Something like that could easily turn nasty.

Isn't that what we have now though? Walk down any street and you'll see stickers saying what you've writen in the windows of most pubs. Effectivly, you're saying we should keep the status quo.

So how would a ban *with* exceptions work? "Smoking is banned in all pubs, excpet those which allow it." Well, as we know, they were going to allow smoking in "licences premises that serve food and members clubs", but arguments over what the exact definition of "food",...

The smoking ban is a good thing. Smoky atmospheres make me feel ill, and I don't want my hair and clothes to stink of someone else's addiction. I refuse to go into any place that allows smoking throuout, and haven't done since I walked out of my aunt's birthday party last March. Seperate areas are u...

I believe you can have 2 dishes on your house- one a maximum of 1m, and the second a maximum of 60cm. Anything more requires planning permission (plenty of people get away with breaking these restrictions though). I have a 90cm motorised dish, I considered getting a 1m, and I wish I did now as there...

I do agree with what you're saying, Phil. I was banned around 10 minutes before I posted this, so I was pissed off at the time.

I actually got a warning a few weeks back for "posting off topic". God knows why that is considered serious enough for a warning from the mods- but it explains why there's so many banned members. I don't know who the mods are who are carrying out these sort of decisions (seeing as they nev...

I'm going back even further than Beth- 2000/2001 ish. I beleive the mods back in those days were Neil, Jose & James along with Sathelp who modded the Satellite forums and, I think, Chris did the Cable ones (funny how we knew who all the mods/admins were back then). The site's pretty much unrecog...
