Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board

BTW if you think i haven't noticed people using this thread as a proxy for the GB News thread you're mistaken. so stop it. Don't you think this is more of a meta-discussion - a discussion about the discussion of GB News on the other place? As far as I can see, no-one has mentioned pres, etc, really...

Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board

For reference on how unhealthy the obsession with GB News is - after less than 3 days, the thread has already reached 141 pages. The BBC National/News Channel from New Broadcasting House thread on TVF took five-and-a-half months to get to 141 pages and had only reached page 56 by this point. I did ...

Re: What's Next?

I admit to not having been following too closely, but it seems like the current rise in cases is mostly amongst younger age groups, who are of course last to be vaccinated (and I guess most likely to want to be out socialising). I wonder what sort of modelling was done in terms of the roll-out once ...

Re: 6 Music schedule changes

I guess it's maybe because it's the first school holiday for a while where it's actually been possible to go anywhere or do anything, but this week Chris Hawkins, Lauren Laverne, Mary Anne Hobbes and Shaun Keaveney are all off at once - so it's deps from 5am to 4pm . They're all pretty solid present...

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread

M&S have refreshed their Stratford foodhall I made the mistake of popping in when they were mid-refurb on the first Sunday the rest of the centre was open in anger, and it was the most stressful shopping experience I'd had in a while, because it was full of people getting in the way. They have ...

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread

Surely basket v trolley is the key differential.

I recently went past the Bethnal Green store and noticed it had some newish signage (including 'est 1969' - can anyone beat that?), but having a look on Street View it does look maybe a bit interim, like they were going to remove the Metro all along.

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread

Boots was always the best as everything was included. But their sandwiches are now shite When I was at uni, I used to enjoy trying to get Boots meal deals where the individual parts were over twice the cost of the deal - usually involving a sushi pack, Innocent smoothie, and Gü pudding. Their 'Deli...
