I think at the very least they could do with different versions for long-distance/local trains. NS do this quite well, I think.

I don't think I realised that they've got four branches in Glasgow - all have survived the chop for now. The city centre branch dates back to 1993, and I feel like I've probably not been to any of the branches ...

JS dropped all their fake brands in favour of Stamford Street. Perhaps it's some of those you're thinking of? Or perhaps the earlier "brand at Tesco" brands which existed for a while alongside Everyday Value which were dropped a few years before?
