Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
A lot of those don't surprise me. Swansea and Carmarthen in particular, both aren't particularly affluent areas and I'm surprised it took administration for them to close them down.

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
The Wilko closing in Llanelli is in the town centre, duplicated by the still open store at the Trostre retail park, which itself is now ironically dying after managing to kill off what was left of the high street there.

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
They trialled a department store combining all their brands under one roof at the former BHS in Carmarthen, West Wales. Every time I’ve been there, it’s been empty. I’m not surprised.

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board
A (relatively) new and probably young member bringing up STV’s position in an independent Scotland. Yet again.
I mean, they surely haven’t read through entire threads to see if it’s been discussed before, but it gets boring for those of us who have been members (or ex-members lurking, like me) for ...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board
Someone uploaded a video of Dec’s fainting prank from SMTV in 2000 to YouTube, heavily edited with wordmarks, adverts and breakdown slides that a) weren’t present on the original broadcast, and b) weren’t accurate to the time of the original broadcast (including a banned advert from 2003 and an ITV1 ...

New design, colour and font for Currys PC World’s instore signage. Not sure whether it’s part of a full rebrand yet, but I’ll keep an eye out for any more changes.

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
My nearest BonMarche was one of the stores not saved. Not that I ever saw anyone go into it.
They spent thousands fitting out and moving my local Bonmarche to a new location, only to close it less than 3 months later. If they’re OK with p*****g away money like that, then I’m not surprised at ...

To be fair to them they haven’t ...
