Its starting to be rolled out this year https://up.metropol247.co.uk/012020/1579950421_1827942541.jpg If you look, they have changed the colours on the beach ball - and I know how poorly its been ...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-50094937 Buyer found. Peacocks. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-50584658 How ethical is this, as Philip Day owned Bon Marchè via Spectre, and is the owner of Peacocks via EWM. Also Peacoks made a bid for Bonarchè earlier this year and it was turned down by Sp...

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread

A new one on me today at Euro Garages Bangor: Sainsburys On The Go; a very small, WHSmith Travel style shop mainly selling sandwiches, crisps, vapes (a lot of vapes) and a surprisingly well stocked condiments and tinned goods section. Seems to be a trial at several Euro Garages that began in May. h...

Re: The Co-op Thread

Lakes & Dale's Co-operative, which are owned by Scotmid (previously Penrith Co-operative Socity be takeover and rebrand by Scotmid) appear to have adopted the International Coop branding too.

Re: ***THE OFFICIAL ALL NEW SAFEWAY THREAD***

Looks like Morrisons are opening Safeway Daily stores in petrol stations, which seems confusing, as McColls which stock the Safeway brand are launching Morrisons Daily stores.

Re: ***THE OFFICIAL ALL NEW SAFEWAY THREAD***

Can’t help but wonder, given Morrisons clearly don’t have an issue with their name being plastered all over it, why they don’t just stock Morrisons-branded stuff instead. Going off topic a bit, Woolies had the old Gold F. W. WOOLWORTHS & Co. Ltd. Logo up until 1994 totally bypassing redesigns of the 70s and 80s Image

Re: Another High Street Rebrand

Did anyone notice Poundstretchers did buy out part of Poundworld and along with Bargin buys name. I don't think they bought it, they just started using it. Interestingly it does not appear to have been trademarked until last month, when the administrators registered it . Poundstretcher then submitt...
