Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

Just been looking through some of my unread PMs and found this rather odd delight from TopCat. Dear Sir/Madam, I have been around on this forum twice the length of time you have, and would like to see your arguments FOR the BBC instead of simply arguing against why I might be wrong. Could you not d...

Re: Sky or Virgin Media?

I don't get the Vonnage advert, saying if you can't get mobile reception indoors to use their services, but to use them you need broadband and WiFi and surely mot people who have broadband have a landland which is in 99% of calls is crystal clear so therefore no need for Vonnage.

Re: Sky or Virgin Media?

The newer updates have improved padding however I think the difference is that virgin's epg still isn't dynamic. TiVo has improved greatly since it first came out, its far faster and better designed for the British way of doing things. The initial release was a bit like mouseboy had coded it "...

Re: Sky or Virgin Media?

Sky user here. Apart from Sky Atlantic there are a few channels in HD on Sky but I can't remember off the top of my head. Whilst TiVo has the ability to do three recordings at once compared to two with Sky, it can't cope with padding so if a live broadcast carries on your programme will cut off (so ...

Re: Insomnia

I suffer from it too, granted some of it is because I am in pain most of the time, but other times I get into that thought cycle where I think oh I am nearly asleep now, oh no I just woke myself up. The only thing I do can't really work for I donn't work, but someone who did work told me this advice...

Silence it seems.
Perhaps he's just waiting for Rob Schneider to say exactly the same thing I did a month later.

Perhaps they clicked on reply and are the the slowest typist in the world, maybe one or two words a week?

Re: Another High Street Rebrand

There was a new-old-branded one at a service station on the M5 near Bridgwater / Taunton Deane not that long ago. It's now a "Great Burger Company" or such like. I think Roadchef used to have an franchise agreement with them. They also had "wimpy chicken" at Tibshelf on the M1. ...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

Hello, Long term lurker .... Hope this is as good a place as any to mention this, was there supposed to be a tick when I signed up for TV forum to also sign me up for this fine place? I couldn't see one. No biggie having to register here as well but if it is a bug I thought you would want to know. A...
