Re: The Co-op Thread

The store looks really messy and uninviting in your pictures. Is it always like that? Yup. It's always a sorry mess both inside and out. I've only ever seen the area where people are supposed to be able to queue in front of the Post Office counter choc full of the tall rack trolley thingumies used ...

Re: The Co-op Thread

Indeed, the decision by societies to go their own way branding-wise (whilst something I like in a geeky way), is quite baffling at times also! Re: The Co-op Thread

Within the last 48 hours, a notice has appeared on my nearest Co-op (Station Road, Henbury, Bristol BS10) regarding its imminent revamp. The woman at the till today told me (because I asked!) that it will close for the refit on 3rd May. The trend seems to be avoiding stating a specific re-open date ...

Re: The TSB & Lloyds Bank relaunch news and information boar

Seemingly, for non-town/city centre branches the notion of a firm “relaunch date” is somewhat non-existent. In Cowley (southeast Oxford), the Cheltenham & Gloucester had the temporary “C&G” signage (with the obviously-“TSB”-ready layout) in the weeks prior to 9th Sept, but didn’t make the f...
