Hi, I have a few DivX files and was wondering if there is any way of transferring these so they can be played from a DVD.

Is it possible to link up a DVD Player to a DVD Recorder like the Panasonic DMRE85 and record whatever is on the DVD to the hard drive or a DVD disk?

Sorry if I sound a bit thick on asking this, but I'm interested in buying one and just wanted to know.
