Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

As part of Modella Capital's transitional services agreement with WHSmith, they're not allowed to mass close stores or launch a CVA before the first anniversary of the transaction.

The TSA also allows Modella Capital to continue to use WHSmith's systems for a year.

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread

Contactless was working again on Friday.

A friend of mine works for M&S and said they'd been getting abuse from customers over Click & Collect or not being able to use Contactless.

The Digital receipt option on the M&S app doesn't show any receipts since the cyber attack happened.

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread

With M&S confessing to a cyber attack over Easter, I went into my nearest M&S Food to use the self checkouts.

Out of 8 self checkouts, only three were working and while it was fine to scan barcodes, scanning the Sparks card took at least 15 seconds to register and around 30 seconds to get chip and ...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

My local Smiths even sells vapes!

to be fair they always sold fags so its a natural evolution of that.

It wasn't always the case locally that my store sold cigarettes. It was purely a news, mags, books, stationary and music store until the 2000s when they started selling sweets and drinks ...

Re: What's going on with all this gender stuff?

Damn, I wish people would respect the "sex-based rights" of my cis lesbian friends who keep getting aggro in women's toilets for not looking sufficiently feminine enough which often leaves them having to brave the gents with shewees. I would love it if people would utilise their right to mind ...

What has helped the Gender Critical movement substantially is that they have a major ally in author J.K. Rowling who was believed to have bankrolled For Women Scotland's appeal against the Scottish Government.

She genuinely makes me feel sick, I've been unable to watch or read anything Harry ...
