Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board

I'm not sure that's news, as it appears that member was banned a year ago. I suppose it's information but it's not particularly interesting.

I have read the site since 2023 and can assure you that he was not banned in 2024

Re: Adverts that irritate and entertain

Their adverts have always tended to be quite minimal in their claims - I presume it's because they can't actually advertise the benefits you supposedly get from using the oil on your skin.

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread

I went to Sainsbury’s Charlton for the first time and noticed there was a first floor level that only had a Specsavers on it. Made me realise I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Sainsbury’s, or indeed a Morrisons, with a Tesco style non-food mezzanine with travelators. Do any exist?

Just had 500 Nectar points stolen as apparently fraudsters have worked out how the Nectar card numbers work and are able to just give the number out.

If anyone has a lot of Nectar points, please turn on “points lock” in the app to avoid what’s happened to me. I didn’t even know it existed ...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board

Russell T. Davies = RTD
Gary Lineker = MTD

It seems RTD as stated he is not in any of the meeting linked to the future of the series, including who is the next doctor.... which seems a bit odd..

There alot of rumours saying RTD has been kicked out as the showrunner, He has done a interview with ...

It's pleasing to see that the MasterChef thread has been allowed to continue over the past week or so. From what I've seen posts have remained primarily presentation related, probably as by now users know that admin/mods would understandably clamp down on any discussion around the allegations.

It ...

Anyone seen the Fosters ad on TV recently? Didn't it originally have a guy tell his brother in law the drink was an obscure tipple called Voodoo Jazzhands? They seem to have censored it, as now he says Voodoo Jazzha- and gets cut off.

This advert is back, and were it not for this post I'd ...

B) it’s quite the edge case to have customers coming in with their mobile wallet as the only way to pay and not also have either a physical card with chip and PIN, or cash. Maybe don’t walk into a shop with only one method of paying and no back up?

But for a lot of people, their phone is their ...

Indeed, made quite obvious when you post things like:

Baffling that you would post the "only way" forward when you've got no idea what you're talking about.

Re: What's going on with all this gender stuff?

Indeed - a law written 15 years ago didn't adequately consider trans people, and the Supreme Court confirmed that. If the people in charge of Labour weren't sympathetic to anti-trans bigots, or openly anti-trans, then the law could easily be changed to enshrine the rights of trans people.

What it ...
