Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread

Wonder what happened here then? Tesco licensed the photo from Getty Images and Mel B's agent but it seems nobody told Mel B herself. The whole Clubcard Plus ad campaign is piss poor anyway. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-50387714 Mel B is always hanging around the 30% off area in Lidl.

It's taken the full year but we now seem to be in the position where only the mysterious Just Right remains in the older packaging
I always wondered why their most expensive cereal had the cheapest looking box design.

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread

It appears the Morrisons self-service tills have had their software upgraded (at least up my end). It's similar to the Tesco interface, with some nice animations - (including a Catalina printing one. The receipt printing now happens after the change is dispense rather than during, which is a mild a...

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread

1. Lack of carrier bags at each till. The amount of times I've had to leave my shopping unattended to go and find someone to get a bag, and then when I return someone's standing at my till about to move my items to one side. I know you might say "well bring your own and help the environment", and w...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand

both nixdorf models. Newer Morrisons have NCR FastLane 6 which are excellent. What are both Nixdorf models? sorry thought I'd quoted that. The B&Q ones and the original Morrisons I agree that the new Morrisons units are excellent. What is annoying is people who don't bother loading the items from t...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

Does anyone know what the real deal is with jeffrey44 and every time someone links to one of his YouTube videos on TV Forum he changes the thumbnail to something mocking DVB Cornwall? It all seems very immature. And obsessive seeing as he must be watching TVF like a hawk to know when one of his vid...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

You weren't around when he was spamming TV Forum and DS with complete gibberish all the time with numerous accounts, which went on for years. Or sending obscene game show suggestions to Challenge. And it was only a few months ago he made a bizarre phone call to Iain Lee on Talk Radio. He was a regu...

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread

Apologies if I've missed it being mentioned already but Sainsbury's have been pushing Nectar (using the updated branding) heavily in stores this week, and with a new app too. Interestingly, the app provides a barcode to scan your card in-store (much like Tesco has done with Clubcard for AGES), and ...
