I joined in the very early days (2000-ish) because the previous telly forum I frequented (Rob S's NotBBC) became full of silly people.

They should evict the person who thought up this silly idea in the first place. They should add the new variety, along with all the ones they got rid of in the first place.

I produced something like this for a ZX Spectrum as one of my first programming efforts. As I recall it took up something like 800 bytes of Z80 assembler.

Makes you wonder what they're feeding the people who make the compilers these days that a proggie like that could use up a third of a megabyte!

Think you're referring to the LG BH-100, which I believe is the only combo unit that went on sale in the UK.
