I can't find the letter now with the exact wording, but when my old flat had it's number officially changed, the letter we received from the council just stated that the number must be clearly/prominently displayed on the property. (National legislation covers this, but I guess your local authority ...

You can see the bitrates and formats used by the radio stations on satellite and DAB at digitalbitrate.com -- for example, www.digitalbitrate.com/dtv.php?liste=1&live=69&lang=en&mux=10788 shows what the main BBC stations are using on Sky/Freesat, and www.digitalbitrate.com/dtv.php?mux=10...

For most people at work, it's Say-no's, although I might try and introduce the Antipodean angle to mix things up a bit.

The much-delayed Sheffield to Rotherham "tram-train" extension started running its first public services this morning... until mid-afternoon, when a truck crashed into one of the new units on a crossroads, derailed it, and suspended the line. 🤦‍♂️

I used the new interface at the Sheffield High Street store yesterday. The prompt asking if you'd like a receipt only comes up after you've paid, so I suspect a fair number of impatient people might have already walked away by the time it appears.
