Seen more and more of the Tesco signs brandishing "Est. XXXX" and it got me thinking, what's the earliest year anyones been able to find on these signs? They seem to mostly be on the Express stores but I think a few superstores have them.

A few moons ago, loitering around was the package of new jingles for BBC London back from 2010, most notably the news. Think they all had the same signature motif and I recall them being impressive though can't find any trace of them now.

Think they were made by Music4 but they seem to be dead and ...

I see that Diet Coke have reverted back to their original logo from the new style bottles being released after the logo was 'Coca-Cola-ised' a few years back.

Took a sneaky photo of a new Caffeine-free gold bottle against an old bottle. The new (old) logo does look a lot better IMO.

There probably is one behind a fire escape but there’s no public accessible staircase - just the lift and escalators.

The Sainsbury’s Central in Birmingham is a terrible Sainsbury’s which still retains most of the asthetics of Sainsbury’s twenty years ago inside and very dimly lit and very quiet. I’m not surprised it’s going.

I remember the early days when the first self serve checkouts came to my local Tesco and looking at them like they were some kind of intriguing invention. This must have been about 2005/2006ish.

Anyway the machines weren't capable of using Chip & PIN machines and only had a mag strip swipe facility ...

Thomas Cook have had a rebrand today, replacing their old logo which had been in place since 2001.

We're still with the C&G temporary signs in Hereford with TSB posters in the window. Same for the Lloyds TSB down the road who have the new 'square' and the posters showing but still with the Lloyds TSB temporary signs. Guessing they'll be taken down later in the week.
