Morrisons is closing 23 stores - property writedown taking its toll then.

Not surprised that the misting machines are on their way out. The last time I was in a Morrisons, it just had an enormous crowd of old women stood around it complaining that it was making the vegetables smell funny.

I should maybe add that this one is a Local, albeit apparently one that's over 3000 sq ft, because it's only open for 6 hours on a Sunday.

Tooley Street is where they launch all their concepts - the bakery is a real, independent artisan brand that Tesco "let" space to, I believe (they have it in the Extra in Kensington too) - but Harris + Hoole is a 49%-Tesco-owned subsidiary. The Guardian are outraged .
