Re: Windows 9 is now Windows 10
I keep trying to use the New Outlook in the fear that one day I will be forced to do so but it just sucks. It's so limited compared to the "Old" Outlook, such as it won't let me set up a Quick Step to move an email to a folder in a shared mailbox. However there's no point because multiple times a ...

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread
As I said, I don't always find Apple Pay convenient, most of the time I find using my card (to do contactless) more convenient so I won't go without my wallet which has my cards in, which also has cash in when that's needed. Peace of mind for me at least.

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread
I saw on one of Sky News’ live thread things on their website a few days ago, someone complaining that they got to the till only to be told you can’t use contactless and that they should be putting signs out to say so.

Re: Will the UK ever adopt DAB+?
Admitting my ignorance but what's the difference between DAB and DAB +?
Here is my attempt at explaining in the very simplest terms:
DAB is based on older compression technology called MPEG-2, so each station needs more bandwidth in order for the station to have an acceptable sound quality to ...

The roll has a red line on it when it gets near the end but the staff aren’t going to know that for the self service tills are they?

Sainsbury's actually let you do phone scan-and-shop in the big stores as well. Again though, I find it easier to use the device because you can keep it in its holster and just scan the items that way.
