Re: The Very Official McDonalds (and other fast food outlets) Thread

Agree with all the comments made here. Their priority seems to be delivery drivers first, everyone else a distant second. If you go in the restaurant and it's not too busy, table service is usually ok and avoids waiting around forever. I don't see the point in going in the drive thru anymore as I ca...

Re: The New Real Thing

If I want fizzy these days I tend to go to a general shop by my work which has a fridge full of fascinating imported US drinks. Cherry Dr Pepper, Cream Soda Dr Pepper, Cherry Vanilla Coke, all various different versions of Mountain Dew.

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board

I had added another post to that thread saying I believed the moderators had got it wrong, and some extra info related to what we were discussing in the thread. Instead of a moderator replying to me to tell me I’d got it wrong (I assume it was a copy on another YouTube channel, but I thought the mod...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board

The new logo looks like someone in mock designs recreated the old one from memory with bad padding and Calibri instead of Gill Sans, so I don’t know why people are in a rush for it to change. It kind of amazes me that the new logo actually looks worse at small sizes than the old one. And let's not ...

It looks like when you make a document in Word with a custom font that you downloaded but then you've opened it on another computer without that font and it defaults to Arial.

Re: Adverts that irritate and entertain

There's an interesting Postcode Lottery campaign on at the moment which is in partnership with ITV, C4 and Sky and starring not only famous faces from those channels but in some instances using the official graphics (Sky Sports News) and sets (Rachel Riley on Countdown). Their YouTube channel only f...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board

Did BBC LDN always post such essays in the blue days as he does now in the BBC News thread? I know what you mean as I've thought that too, but having checked, I'm pretty sure that "LDN" on Pres Cafe is a different person to "BBC LDN" on TVF, particularly as BBC LDN didn't post a...
