My god, a Nationwide ad that doesn’t make me want to throw my TV out the window! And is maybe actually kind of funny!

That logo was always a strange thing - why wait so long to introduce Wal-mart branding to Asda in such a way? I think the supposed pomposity is why people like him. When most newsreaders come across as a bit bland and samey he’s a bit different and harks back to the broadcasters of old.
