Re: The Barclays and other non-Lloyds/TSB Bank thread

Serious nostalgic flashback with that font and the cartoon people they used to use on marketing material.

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

I noticed that. It looks like he quit the forum again after an argument about remembering/not remembering things he posted on the TV Ark Twitter account (which he controls). Starts here and ends at the bottom of the page.

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

What’s up with barcode? He’s not that bad usually but he seems to have been getting very annoyed over minor things lately.

Re: Adverts that irritate and entertain

I knew the second I saw this ad that it would be banned. It looked exactly like they were offering a service where you could get multiple takeaways from different companies in one order. What were they thinking? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-50644526 I’m astonished by the spokeswoman they quo...

I wish BM11 didn't feel the need to repost everything he sees on Twitter that might have a tiny bit of relevance to the discussion.
To his credit, he was actually right about something today.
Good, would just be nice if there weren't all the other posts that are just links to tweets.

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread

Wonder what happened here then? Tesco licensed the photo from Getty Images and Mel B's agent but it seems nobody told Mel B herself. The whole Clubcard Plus ad campaign is piss poor anyway. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-50387714 I wonder if the story was updated after you posted? It...

Gosh that Switched On was infuriating.

I saw 'was' because he'll be no doubt banned by the time most people see this.
Only banned for one week, sadly.

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

What is JKDerry exactly? He writes these long posts where he seems to make out he knows what he's on about but it largely seems to be stuff he's read on TV Forum reworded into endless, repeating posts. You'd almost think he used to work in TV but I don't think he has and he's just making assumption...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand

Did a bit of further research and came across this article from The Times from last month, which features this bit:
B&Q is in the process of removing all self-service tills and Morrisons has paused the wider introduction of its machines after customers complained they found them impersonal.
