I was reading The Metro yesterday, and I have to praise the retro clubcard advert that featured vintage packaging for a few products. Got a kick out of me seeing that. Wish they actually were selling retro packaged items.
They are, some in my local include Pepsi, Robinson's, Tango, Wagon Wheels ...

With more of their big stores closing and Smiths only being interested in the small airport and train station outlets now, maybe the rebrand makes sense. They'll need the shorter name just to fit it on all those much smaller unit signs.

In Microsoft's never ending quest to push the twin dead ducks of Bing and Edge, they are now rolling out an update which puts a floating Bing-powered Edge search bar on the desktop.
And how the heck do you switch it off?
I've tried Googling but all I get is ways of switching other things on ...

The Tesco Everyday Value brand still lives on despite the renaming some years ago, although only one product; if ever you need any nappy bags, you're in-luck, despite the website saying 'currently unavailable'.

First thought it was just a new look for Dairy Milk, had to look a couple of times to notice a difference in the Cadbury logo itself, bringing back elements from an earlier logo.

Glad that rounded font is hopefully going, they've tweaked the logo too the 't' now no longer extends to the 'B', but as can be seen the oval seems at limbo whether it's staying or going, I personally don't mind the oval-less version.
